Our Most Recent Victory: 2023 State Team and Regional Team
While Austin High School's Sci-oly fell short of qualifying for Nationals this year, they certainly did not disappoint. Placing 8th overall at state, they competed very well with much bigger and more funded schools. This year, they also competed at the Rice University Regional, dominating the events as they received 22 medals out of the 23 events and sweeping the rest of the teams by a hefty amount. After coming off of two strong years in the Stephen F. Austin Science Olympiad the team is now motivated as ever to make into nationals even with the loss of many crucial team members.

2022 State team and Regional team
The 2021 - 2022 season ended with one of Stephen F Austin's best ever performances at state, winning 4th place overall against competitive schools such as Seven Lakes and Clements Highschool. Earlier this year, the team was able to completely sweep out the competition at the gulf coast regionals and have both A and B teams win 1st and 3rd places respectively, marking the best regionals performance the school has ever seen!

The 2019-2020 season ended with yet another year of strong performances. The Stephen F. Austin Science Olympiad team exceeded expectations with their hard work and dedication throughout the year, producing their best-ever finishes at the CyFalls and Seven Lakes Invitationals as well as hosting their first-ever intramural. Although COVID-19 led to the cancellation of the State Tournament and thus ended the competition season early, every member's commitment and drive for excellence were clearly reflected in their 1st place sweepstakes at Regionals. We look forward to an exciting upcoming season!

The 2018-19 season marks a great year of accomplishment for the Stephen F. Austin Science Olympiad. Maintaining the momentum of success from the previous year's 5th place state finish and hard work from multiple invitational top finishes, the team really came together and brought it home with a 1st place finish at regionals and a historic 4th place finish at state, the best in the club's history. Having reached new heights in their pursuit for the sciences, the team is now only more motivated and eager to continue and further their success in the future"

2019 State Team
The 2020-2021 season ended with Stephen F. Austin's best ever performance at the state competition. Continuing the upward trajectory of previous years, the 2020-2021 SFA SciOly team finished 3rd at state, as well as setting a record number of medals with 11. Throughout the year, the team persevered through the difficult circumstances of an all-online year and managed to produce great success. After reaching new heights this year, the team looks forward to climbing even higher in the future!

2018 State Team
In the 2017-18 season, the Stephen F. Austin Science Olympiad team finished 5th place at state, tying their previous record of 189 points with a fantastic performance and numerous medals. This comes after a long and difficult journey, as the team did not reach its maximum potential and perform its best at various Invitationals and Regionals. However, with months of preparation and every member putting in a great amount of hard work and effort, we were able to turn things around for the club and end the year extremely strong. We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished, and we know that we can do even better in the years to come!

2017 A&M University State Team
Austin High School finished 14th in Division C of the 2016 Texas Science Olympiad State Finals held April April 21- 22 at Texas A&M University at College Station! We congratulate Kaiwen Lu and Mihir Shah on getting 3rd in Chem Lab! While this hasn't been our best year, we know that everyone in the team put in great effort to reach to this position. We are hoping for an even stronger team and are determined to get more medals next year!

Austin High School finished sixth in Division C of the 2016 Texas Science Olympiad State Finals held April 22-23 at Texas A&M University at College Station. While this was not our best showing, we are still extremely proud of each and every member and know that everyone put in great effort to reach our current position. In the coming year, we are determined to come back even stronger as our organization grows.
